Titanium Fireflies Begleri (Fruit Cocktail)

Fresh off the successful release of my DOTS, I wanted to keep the set screw design going. I eventually thought of making a bug-shaped looking bead, and out came the Fireflies. These feature a rounded titanium top, and a resin bottom that resembles the butt of a Firefly :)

The epoxy resin portion of the bead is from a 'skurfetti' rod. These rods are made from color changing HyperGlow pieces in three colors cast in crystal clear epoxy resin. Made using a specialized vacuum infusion process which produces a high quality material that is void and bubble free.

When not exposed to UV light, the pieces have a opaque coloration. Expose it to sunlight or a strong UV light source, and watch them glow.

Fireflies design features no knot hole, because you don’t need to make a knot or flat burn to secure your cord for this set.  They are compatible with both 425 (3mm) and 550 (4mm) paracord.  At the 'head' of the bead is a screw hole, that’s used to secure a cord, for an easy setup, using the included set screws and hex wrench accessory.  Fireflies are NOT magnetic like the vast majority of my sets, so keep that in mind.

**To activate the glow, you need to put it under a light source (sunlight, UV flashlight, lamp, etc...). Over time, the glow will fade and they'll need to be activated again**
